Dungeon Master

As an entry to the Game Boy Competition 2023, themed "you're the monster", I present a small game where you can play the role of a dungeon boss. You can create rooms and edit your dungeons as you see fit, and you can gather monsters and even create traps for the unsuspecting party that wants to raid your home! However, you should be aware of your resources, and to manage your money well.

This is a Work in Progress, many features are not yet implemented, and the game is in a minimally-playable state! Progress post-compo might happen, but it is not guaranteed!

Important: the provided .gb file is an actual Game Boy title. You need a Game Boy emulator such as Emulicious, Mesen or bgb to be able to play it. You can also upload it to a flash cart and play it on a real Game Boy.

This project uses graphics from the Dungeon Tileset II, provided by 0x72. Thank you very much! It also uses the Monogram font and the 04b03 font.
